We have compiled all the essential details to ensure your trip to Michigan is smooth and enjoyable. If you have a question that isn't answered here, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly.
Wedding Day
Seating opens at 4:00 PM, and the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early to find your seat and settle in.
Both will take place at Bay Pointe Inn’s Lakefront Pavilion (11456 Marsh Rd, Shelbyville, MI 49344). No travel is required between events.
Weather permitting, yes — we plan to celebrate on the lawn by the lake. The reception will follow in the covered Pavilion.
Attire & Comfort
Cocktail attire. Suits (ties optional), midi or tea-length dresses, dressy separates, or a jumpsuit are all welcome. Colorful attire is encouraged!
Because the ceremony will be held on the lawn, block heels, wedges, or formal flats tend to be the most comfortable choice.
The Pavilion is open-air but equipped with fans, heaters, and drop-down walls to suit the forecast.
Travel & Logistics
Yes. Complimentary motorcoach transportation will run continuously throughout the evening. Pickup details will be shared closer to the date.
Yes — complimentary on-site parking is available directly in front of the Inn.
They can be, but availability may be limited later in the evening — planning ahead is a good idea if you’re staying off-site.
